Marble, Navy and Brushed Gold
The space
The owners had a tile they loved — big, heavily veined — and were told by two other contractors to pick something quieter.
The decision
Use it. Bold tile works when the layout is planned so the veins meet the way they would in a slab, and when everything else in the room is one colour. Navy and gold are the only other things in there.
The detail
Look at the corner behind the rain head: the vein on the left wall continues onto the right wall. That is a dry layout of every piece before the first cut.
