What this site collects, and what happens to it

Short version: the only personal information this site handles is what you type into the estimate form or the ballpark calculator, and it goes to me so I can call you back.

The estimate form

When you send the form I receive what you entered: project type, ZIP code, timing, your description, your phone number, and — if you gave them — your name, email and photos. It is used to contact you about your project and to prepare a quote. It is stored on the web server in a folder that is not publicly accessible, and emailed to besttilesolution@gmail.com. If you give an email address you get one automated confirmation; there is no newsletter and no marketing list.

Photos you upload are kept with your request so I can look at them before the visit. They are never published, shared, or used to train anything.

The instant ballpark

The calculator sends your five answers to the server, which returns a range. Nothing identifies you unless you then choose to leave a phone number. Anonymous answers (project type, size, grade, the first three digits of the ZIP) are kept so I can see what people are asking about.

Retention

Requests and photos are kept for up to two years so I can find a past quote if you come back, then deleted. Ask sooner and they go sooner: email besttilesolution@gmail.com from the address you used, or call 848-850-9050.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. The form remembers what you typed in your own browser (session storage) so an error does not lose your answers; that never leaves your device. Page views and button clicks are counted by this site itself, not by a third-party analytics service: the page, the referring site, the device type, and your network address with its last part removed. That count is only ever seen by me.

Third parties

Email is delivered through the mail provider for besttilesolution@gmail.com. If text-message alerts are turned on, the fact that a request arrived (not your details) is sent to my phone through a messaging provider. Nobody else receives your information, and it is never sold.

Photos of finished work

Project photos on this site are of real jobs, published with the homeowner's permission. Towns are named; street addresses never are. If a photo of your home is here and you would like it removed, tell me and it comes down that day.
