I am Alex. Best Tile Solution is me, my tools, and the licensed plumber and electrician I call when a job needs them. I am based in East Brunswick and I work in the towns around it.

I do tile and the rooms tile lives in — showers, bathrooms, backsplashes, floors — and I do not do the rest. No whole-house renovations, no additions, no design service. That is not modesty; it is the reason the work is good. A person who does one thing every day gets to see what fails and why, and stops doing it.

What fails, in this trade, is almost never the tile. It is what is under it: a plastic pan with no slope, a surround set on drywall, a floor with no decoupling layer, silicone that should have been used instead of grout. None of that is visible on the day the job is finished. All of it is visible three winters later.

So the way I work is built around the part you cannot see. Wet rooms go back to the studs. The waterproofing is continuous and it is flood-tested before tile. I photograph the substrate and send you the pictures. The layout is dry-fitted before the first cut. Fixtures go in last, after the grout has cured. It takes longer than the other way. It is the only way I do it.

You will deal with me from the first visit to the walk-through — same person, same phone number, same-day reply, seven days a week. If I am not the right fit for what you need, I will tell you on the first call and, if I can, point you to someone who is.
