Green Subway Shower with a Hexagon Floor
The space
A dated corner shower in a small bath, and owners who were tired of white.
The decision
One colour, everywhere in the shower, glossy enough to bounce light around a small room. The floor stays white so the green is the only thing you notice. Frameless corner glass instead of a framed door so the tile is not interrupted.
The detail
Glossy green tile shows every wave in the wall. The backer was shimmed flat first, and the tile set to a laser line course by course, because a handmade-look tile forgives its own variation but not a crooked line.
